Adobe Primetime DRM

Adobe’s DRM system was formerly known as ‘Access’, but is now referred to as ‘Primetime’ as it is grouped as a component of their Primetime video platform.

It is typically used for videos played via the Adobe Flash® browser plugin and Adobe AIR® application.

Due to a policy requirement from Adobe, you must apply for an additional certificate agreement directly through them for their DRM system to become available to you.

Supported Content

Video content formats that are commonly used with Primetime/Access include:

  • MPEG-DASH & Common Encryption (CENC)
  • HTTP Live Streaming (HLS)
